Rama Krishna Knitters Private Limited, (here in after called as “Corporate Debtor”), a Company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 having Registered office at Ludhiana-141001. The Corporate Debtor was incorporated on 15th February 2007 with the main objective of carrying on the business of manufacturing, processing, knitting, buying, selling, importing, exporting and dealing in wholesale and retail in all kinds of description of yarns, knit wears, woven products, hosiery products, wearing apparels, garments, crochet products, quilts, blankets fabrics, carpets and embroideries. The Corporate Debtor has been engaged in the Manufacturing and Exports of Knitted readymade garments. The product range of corporate debtors includes readymade T-Shirts, Gents Shirts, Gents Lowers, Gents Bermudas, Ladies Tops and Baby Suits. The Company has two units at different locations in Ludhiana.
The company's manufacturing unit located at Noorpur Bet, has covered area of approx 2 Lac Sq Ft on land measuring appox. 15000 sq.yards. This site is approx 15 KM from city area but is well connected and accessible through state highway.
The unit located at Haibowal Kalan has covered area of 25000 Sq Ft constructed on plot measuring 900 sq. yards.
Punjab National Bank filed an application under section 7 of IBC, 2016 for initiation of Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process of “M/s Rama Krishna Knitters Private Limited” due NPA declared account. The application got admitted by Hon’ble National Company Law Tribunal Chandigarh Bench, Vide order No. CP (IB) No. 286/Chd/Pb/2018 dated 13.02.2019. CA Rajender Kumar Jain, an Insolvency Professional having Registration Number IBBI/IPA-001/IP- P00543/2017-18/10968 has been appointed as Interim Resolution Professional (IRP) vide order No. CP (IB) No. 286/Chd/Pb/2018 dated 13.02.2019. and was confirmed as Resolution Professional with 100 % voting share of COC members in the First meeting dated 14th Day of March, 2019. Further he was appointed as Liquidator vide order dated 24.12.2019.
